This is a fun move, but I wouldn’t use it as a go-to. It’s more high risk, and there are likely better moves to attempt. I say this as I think Bure may have been the only player to pull this off. If it were a highly effective move you would see more players attempting it.
Here is Bure pulling it off in a game. You see it freezes the goalie just enough for him to get an angle. With the increase in between the legs goals lately this may be effective as a “between the legs fake”
