When To Use It

The chip shot can be used when you are in tight to the net, on a breakaway, or in any situation where you need to elevate the puck in tight to the net. It is great for not telegraphing when/where you are going to shoot the puck, and your goal should be to just get the puck past the goalie without needing to shoot it too hard.
